    2023年最初の展覧会、上田のり子 plusを2月11日より開催致します。現代美術作家上田のり子の突然の旅立ちから10年。主に版の技法による表現は、2000年代幾多の国際展で賞賛されました。上田は「日本の美しさを表現したい」との思いを作品で語っていました。京都に生まれ育ち、アルジェリア、パリの街で過ごした時間、そして最後の瞬間まで、自身の作品の中に日本の美しさを見つめていた事でしょう。本展では日本未発表作品及び親交のあった作家達の作品を展示します。
    As the first exhibition in 2023, Noriko UEDA plus will start on 11th February to commemorate her sudden departure that happened 10 years ago. Her works, mainly in printing, won awards at various international exhibitions during 2000’s. Born and raised in Kyoto city and while in Algeria and Paris, she presented her strong intention of “I love to express the beauty of Japan” in each of her works and that she must have been looking at such beauty in her works till the last moment in her life. This exhibition presents her un-exhibited works in Japan as well as private collections.
