    展覧会内容

    トロント・コミック・アート・フェスティバル（TCAF）は毎年5月にカナダのトロントで開催される、コミック、漫画、グラフィック・ノベルの祭典です。国際的なイベントで、カナダのコミックを展示紹介すると共にカナダの人々に世界中のコミック・アートを体験してもらうという目的のもとに開催されています。
    2015年11月15日に東京ビッグサイトで開催される海外マンガフェスタでの来日に合わせてギャラリーショーを展開します。

    ギャラリー白線では、The Art of TCAF: 2003-2016と題して、TCAFが2003年に創設されてからの歩みを歴代ポスターや販促グッズ等と共に振り返ります。展示作品を手掛けた国際的アーティストたち、Marc Bell、 Darwyn Cooke、Bryan Lee O’Malley、Seth、Maurice Vellekoop、Evan Dorkin, James Jean、松本大洋の作品が原画、そしてスケッチと共にご堪能ただけます！
    またこのギャラリーショーでは、海外マンガフェスタに参加するために来日しているアーティスト達の作品もご覧になれます。
    漫画作品や原画が購入できる希少な機会です！海外マンガフェスタでTCAFアーティストに興味を持った方も、長年のファンの方も、皆さまギャラリー白線にお越しくださいませ。

    Since 2003, The Toronto Comic Arts Festival has comissioned new and original pieces by Canadian and international cartoonists to serve as the official posters and promotional artwork of the Festival. For the first time, the complete range of posters and promotional artwork will be exhibited alongside a selection of the original drawings and pencil sketches made for this artwork.

    This show will feature original artworks by a wide range of cartoonists, including Canadians Marc Bell, Darwyn Cooke, Kagan McLeod, Bryan Lee O’Malley, Seth, and Maurice Vellekoop; Japanese cartoonists Konami Kanata, Taiyo Matsumoto, and Gengoroh Tagame; and international cartoonists including Charles Burns, Evan Dorkin, Dustin Harbin, and James Jean, and many more.

    In addition, this show will feature pieces from all participating TCAF in Tokyo artists, and this range of originals, prints, and photographs will be made available for sale at the gallery.
