    展覧会内容

    当画廊は2008年の開廊以来、イギリス、スペイン、オランダ、ポルトガル、イタリア、トルコ、ドイツ、カナダ等との交流展を企画実施、またソウル、香港、東京、台北、シンガポール、ドバイ、NY、上海、パリ、ロンドン、バンコクのアートフェアにも出展いたしました。そして第1回TKO国際ミニプリント展を立ち上げ、43か国、330作家、599点を集め発表しました。佳作賞にアルゼンチン作家エバ・トーカー氏が受賞、式典にガルデラ公使様にも来場賜りました。この度、私自身がブエノスアイレスの国際ミニプリント展授賞式訪問時に親しくなったモニカ･ペラルタの第2回個展”SHINE”を6年ぶりに企画する運びとなりました。明るく輝く作品約20点の展示です。作家自身も家族と共に来日予定ですし、初日には夫君のフェルナンド・カブサッキ氏のギターミニライブも予定しております。ぜひ貴媒体にて記事としてご採用賜りたく、何卒宜しくお願い申し上げます。

    SHINE
    Shine is the name of Monica Peralta’s exhibition, an artist who works on several media and techniques. On this occasion she presents collages and transfers in foil.
    On this series of works, the theme is the brightness of absence when the reflection is the main character, Inspired on Daniel Lanois’ song Shine “…In the end, the things that keep me walking is your shine, your shine in the morning, your shine in the distance, your shine inside the laughter and the ghosts, your shine when is too late to turn around, your shine”.
    Small abstract synthetic scenes, ambiguous sensations. The contrast between the brightness and opacity of the reflecting surface and its shade trim in intimate collages.
    Nature is present in the transfers, inspired in the XIX century’s naturalists, like a debris where the aleatory shapes its footprint. Surface that yields the versatility of the reflection. Substantially volatile and precise. Golden bread, like in Klimt and its mirror patterns.
    Exquisite and simple as a Japanese print, with its silences, its still life of dead times and of volumes rendered before the sovereignty of the surface.
    Materially, stardust, as in the origin, a making that is precious and fleeting. Zero body, pure information. Ernst Haeckel was a fervent evolutionist who argued that all organisms, animals, plants came from only one ancestral form, all twinned in an original form that becomes this that we are, even jellyfish and ferns.
    Shine attempts to decipher that form, a language that is ours and alien, find the mother architecture and let it shine.
