命は無数のつながりの中で生まれ、あらゆるものが幾重にも絡み合い、互いに支え合うことで形を成す。
だからこそ、命は決して一つでは成り立たない――私はそう思うのです。 私の作品の軸でもある「命」に対する価値観は、故郷での震災経験をきっかけに生まれました。 それまで、漠然としていた生死の概念が、一瞬で現実のものとなるほどの衝撃を受けたのです。
作品を通し、生命の尊さ、無常と儚さ、恐れと安らぎ、つながりと循環―― そんな命の調和を感じていただければ幸いです。
Life is born in a myriad of connections, all things are intertwined in layers, and they take form by supporting each other.
That's why life can never be formed by only one - that is what I believe.The values of “life,” which are also the axis of my work, were made from my experience of the earthquake in my hometown. It was such a shock that the concept of life and death, which had been vague until then, became a reality in an instant. I hope you can feel the preciousness of life, impermanence and transience, fear and peace, connection and circulation, and the harmony of life through my works.
