開催内容

高校生が文京区立本郷図書館にて油彩等の平面絵画等の展示を行う。
図書館という様々な方々の利用する公共空間を利用して行われる本展示においては社会の生活空間に装飾を与える「内装」的な意味合いを探求した。
学校生活において大量に消費されるノートをキャンバスとして再活用した作品等々、図書館内の各階に配置された様々な内装は来館者を鑑賞者へとも変化させ得るのではないかと思う。

High school students exhibit oil paintings and other works at the Hongo Library in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo.
This exhibition, held in the library, a public space used by a wide variety of people, explored the "interior" meaning of decorating the living spaces of society.
The various interiors on each floor of the library, including works that reuse the notebooks that are consumed in large quantities during school days as canvases, may transform visitors to the library into viewers.
